Course Descriptions

Potty Training Seminar

This seminar is held the first Saturday of every month at 1 pm. This is a FREE class to help you learn the quickest and most efficient ways to potty train your dog or puppy. Everyone in the family is invited and encouraged to attend. You will not need to bring your dog. Potty training, like most dog training, is about teaching you!

Puppy Kindergarten

This class is a six week course and cost only $75. It is open to all puppies ten weeks to four months.  Help your puppy start life out on the right paw. This class focuses on the priorities of puppy hood: socialization, bite inhibition and the prevention of common behavior problems. This class will cover potty and house training, fixing problem behaviors like chewing and nipping, greeting people calmly (no jumping) and basic obedience cues including sit, down, come, stay and walking politely on a leash. All classes use all positive, fun methods for learning to communicate with your dog and have fun. The whole family is welcomed and encouraged to come and learn how to raise puppy. Classes fill at five puppies so advance registration is required. 

Basic Obedience

This class is a six week course and cost only $75. All dogs over four months are welcome to join. The goals of this course include polite manners, house training, techniques for preventing unwanted behavior, focusing through distractions and appropriate dog to dog interactions (on leash). You and your dog will also master the basics like sit, down, come, stay, bed, leash manners and much more! All classes use all positive, fun methods for learning to communicate with your dog and have fun. The whole family is welcomed and encouraged to come and help. Classes fill at five dogs so advance registration is required.

Advanced Obedience

Ready to continue your dog’s education? Advanced Obedience brings all the basics into a real world setting with further proofing the basics and learning new advanced behaviors like heel and stand-stay. Focusing and behaving under all distractions is what this class is about! This class gets you well on your way to have your dog become a good citizen. This class is a six week course and cost only $75. Pre-requisite is Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience or Trainer’s approval.

Private lesson and Behavior Consultations

Sessions are one hour in length and are available as single sessions ($75) or a four-week course ($175). At-home lessons are available for an extra charge. Private lessons are great for dogs with major behavior problems or just for the pet parent that could benefit for some one-on-one training. Private lessons are strongly recommended for dogs who have aggression issues or have been known to bite.

Pre-Adoption Counseling

Ready to make that leap into furry parenthood? Need some expert advice on what kind of dog that will fit your lifestyle? Pre-adoption counseling is available to anyone wishing for help making that big decision. Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment that requires a lot of thought and planning. Bringing home the right pet will make sure he will be with you for years to come! 

*Private Lessons - Sessions are 1 hour in length and are available as single sessions ($75) or a four-week course ($175). A session may be conducted at your home for an extra charge. Private lessons are strongly recommended for dogs who have aggression issues or have been known to bite.
